GenCyber Virtual Program 2023: Designed to Prepare Secondary Educators in Washington State to bring Cybersecurity to their Schools

The GenCyber Virtual program is a FREE program that will take place fully online in July of 2023.

The weeklong intensive camp portion of the program will occur: July 10th – 14th

There will also be engagements before the intensive portion of the program and follow-up activities afterward.

The camp is being hosted by UW Bothell in partnership with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and Columbia Basin College. The camp is sponsored by the National Security Agency (NSA).

Participants will learn how to protect the

Confidentiality, Integrity, & Availability

of information through

Interactive Labs, Activities, Games, & Guest Speakers

and teach others to do the same!

Eligible participants are secondary educators in Washington state.

Program participants will be provided with a Raspberry Pi computing device, camp t-shirt, and instructional materials to help them with the various activities we’ll be doing during the program. These items are theirs to keep upon completion of the camp.
